Univention Bugzilla – Bug 30112
UMC join module does not support "rejoin"
Last modified: 2013-03-25 19:57:03 CET
It is in UCS 3.0-0 up to 3.1-0 impossible to rejoin a domain via the UMC join module. The user has to use the commandline tool "univention-join". This is especially annoying after the installation of UCS@school of DC slaves.
yaml: 2013-02-22-univention-join.yaml fix: univention-join 5.0.20-1.409.201302221348
QA: Changes: OK, rejoin works on backup, slave, member. Changelog: FAIL Suggestion for the changelog, it would be nice to have one entry for the UMC module, changes to univention-run-join-scripts should briefly be mentioned in the section "Domain joins of UCS systems". "Join module" → should be "Domain join module" \item The join module has been revised with some new features (\ucsBug{27792}, \ucsBug{30112}): \begin{itemize} \item A progressbar is now shown during the join process. \item A system can be rejoined. \item The execution of already executed join scripts can be forced now. \end{itemize} \item \ucsCommand{univention-run-join-scripts} has been extended to run specific join scripts with parameter \ucsCommand{--run-scripts} and to force the execution of already executed scripts with the parameter \ucsCommand{--force} (\ucsBug{30112}).
Changelog has been adjusted.
OK
