Description Felix Botner univentionstaff 2013-02-19 15:30:06 CET
On a UCS 3.1 master with univention-samba4 (univention-s4-connector) wbinfo seems to be broken.

-> wbinfo -g
wbinfo: /usr/lib/libwbclient.so.0: version `WBCLIENT_0.10' not found (required by wbinfo)
Comment 1 Stephan Hendl 2013-03-28 15:05:49 CET
Well, same error occurs in our environment. The package libwbclient0 comes from samba3 and has reverse dependencies to samba4.

Reverse Depends:
  libpam-smbpass,libwbclient0 2:3.2.0
  samba4,libwbclient0 2:3.6.6-2~bpo60+1.546.201208151016
  samba4,libwbclient0 2:3.6.6-2~bpo60+1.546.201208151016
  samba4,libwbclient0 2:3.6.6-2~bpo60+1.546.201208151016
  samba4,libwbclient0 2:3.6.6-2~bpo60+1.546.201208151016
  samba4,libwbclient0 2:3.6.6-2~bpo60+1.546.201208151016
...

This seems to be fine in UCS 3.2:
* samba 4.1
* libwbclient0 2:4.1
Comment 3 Stefan Gohmann univentionstaff 2016-10-11 08:01:14 CEST
This issue has been filed against UCS 3.1.

UCS 3.1 is out of maintenance and many UCS components have vastly changed in later releases. Thus, this issue is now being closed.

If this issue still occurs in newer UCS versions, please reopen.
