The documentation on assigning printer drivers for Windows should be extended by providing the exact steps people need to perform in the Windows clients.

This won't make it to the initial 3.1-1 documentation, but will most likely be provided as a documentation update for 3.1-1.

The Memo now contains screenshots (copied from the Samba wiki..). I hope we can get rid of the dreadful "Use Windows client driver" via Bug 31624 sometime soon.

The section 12.8 now provides a step-by-step walkthrough for Windows 7 mentioning the various pitfalls in the Windows UI. WinXP will be EOLed soon and isn't covered.

The QA should cover the full section 12.8.

Partially merged. I had already spotted the missing "Servereigenschaften" when I ran through the steps and fixed it in my sandbox, but unfortunately I forgot to commit....

Now commite as revision 46324 with your fixes on top.
