The "language"-box in the login dialog contains the English locale even if it is not installed on the system. This behavior leads to problems because the backend canot translate all data (e.g. the description of a UCR variable)

To be more specific, this case occurs when German is installed as the only locale. UMC offers in this case English as language option, as English is the default language which is always available. In this case, the only known problem is that tooltips are not displayed for UCR variables (nevertheless, the correct description is shown when opening a variable).

This issue has been filed against UCS 3.1.

UCS 3.1 is out of maintenance and many UCS components have vastly changed in
later releases. Thus, this issue is now being closed.

If this issue still occurs in newer UCS versions, please use "Clone this bug".
In this case please provide detailed information on how this issue is affecting
you.
