Description Jascha Geerds univentionstaff 2013-03-07 12:26:50 CET
Currently, the notification about outstanding updates or the license check are handled _after_ the modules have been initialized. Which means that the progress bar is already hidden. This behavior leads to notifications which are displayed ~1 second after the overview page have been initialized.

Internally the event "onModulesLoaded" is called after all modules, user settings etc. have been loaded. Through this event the function "setupGui" is called, which then fire up the last umcp commands for the notifications.

I think it would be nice if these requests could be parallelized or at least be regarded by the progress bar.

- outstanding updates
- license check
- join status
