Description Erik Damrose univentionstaff 2013-04-04 16:11:13 CEST
This happens in a prepared virtualbox/vmware image according to http://wiki.univention.de/index.php?title=UCS_Appliance and in our internal QA virtual machines.

Samba 4 is installed as the default software packages were installed during setup. When i choose domaincontroller slave as the system role the samba 4 checkbox is unchecked when i get to the software page, and gets uninstalled if proceeding.

I expect samba 4 to be checked when arriving on the software page, as it is when domaincontroller master is the selected role.

I am not sure, it could be a different entry in the list for the slave.
Comment 2 Moritz Muehlenhoff univentionstaff 2013-05-31 10:45:17 CEST
We will not ship a UCS 3.1-2 release; the next UCS release will be UCS 3.2.

As such, this bug is moved to the new target milestone.

Nope, just that univention-s4connector is not installed.
