If the Administrator logs into the standard UCS desktop environment, a different KDE profile is used than for root:

Firefox is linked as the web browser in the start menu and there's a link "Server Administration", which opens the start page in Firefox.

For the root user, Konqueror is the browser in the start menu and there's no link to the server start page.

This issue has been filed against UCS 3.0.

UCS 3.0 is out of maintenance and many UCS components have vastly changed in later releases. Thus, this issue is now being closed.

If this issue still occurs in newer UCS versions, please reopen.
