Description Dirk Wiesenthal univentionstaff 2013-07-09 14:26:58 CEST
There is no server-side check whether the room is already running in exam mode when starting the exam. Only at the beginning this is looked up and a hint is displayed:

"Hinweis: In diesem Computerraum wird derzeit die Klassenarbeit "A10" durchgeführt."

This does not prevent the room from being selected, but the exam from being started (even when the exam finished after opening the module). Instead there should be a check at the end so that one cannot open two tabs of "Exam mode" and overwrite the exam of the room.

Bug still exists:

If I start the exam module before another teacher starts the exam, I can select the room without any problems. I can start the exam and overwrite the (not so) old one. This even restarts all computers in the room!

I can imagine that the first room (the preselected one) gets chosen by accident by someone not sitting in there.
