I ran into this problem, as well, on iPad (see bug link). As consequence, UMC would not start.

I updated the put-selector library to version 0.3.5. This should fix the problem.

 univention-management-console-frontend (3.0.123-1) unstable; urgency=low
 .
   * Bug #30004: removed comments, changed console.log() to console.warn(),
     fixed time representation in notifications
