Univention Bugzilla – Bug 33396
samba4 is installed even though samba3 was selected
Last modified: 2013-12-03 21:34:45 CET
UCS@school slave system with a) no samba or b) univention-samba installed. Problem: Regardless if Samba3 or Samba4 has been selected in UCS@school installer, samba4 will be installed. → due to package dependencies, univention-s4-connector will be prefered over univention-samba-slave-pdc. Since univention-samba-slave-pdc is not installed by default on DC slave systems, in the end Samba4 will be selected (via uni-s4-connector).
*** Bug 33378 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
If univention-samba3 is installed or samba3 has to be installed, always the following packages are tried to install: - univention-samba3 - univention-samba-slave-pdc - ucs-school-slave ucs-school-umc-installer (2.0.1-1) unstable; urgency=low
