Univention Bugzilla – Bug 33712
Make sync mode configurable per type
Last modified: 2013-12-12 08:03:13 CET
Backport for UCS 3.1-1. +++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #33711 +++ Currently we have only one sync mode for all types: connector/s4/mapping/syncmode We should make it configurable, for example: connector/s4/mapping/group/syncmode That could be a workaround for Bug #33466.
Fixed via r46644 YAML: r46646

(In reply to Arvid Requate from comment #3) > Created attachment 5693 [details] > Typo patches plus UCR-Description change proposal Yes, fixed in 3.1-1 and 3.2: r46685 + r46686
Verified: * Functionality OK * Variable descriptions OK * Advisory OK Note: Setting connector/s4/mapping/user/syncmode=write in a non-UCS@school environment means that the temporary S-1-4-* SIDs allocated by UDM will not be replaced by the official domain SIDs allocated by Samba4. The same principle applies to other types of objects. So, as stated above, these new variables are currently mainly intended to be used on UCS@school Slave PDCs. Other use cases need to be checked separately for side effects.
