Univention Bugzilla – Bug 34626
pcpatch user is ignored by default
Last modified: 2016-10-04 13:24:49 CEST
This is also done in 62ucs-school-master.inst and 62ucs-school-slave.inst. +++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #34394 +++ The pcppatch user is added to the ignorelist. It should be checked if it is really necessary.
This caused some trouble in Ticket#2015012921000191. pcpatch hadn't been synchronized to Samba 4 because it was still on the ignorelist. Because of this, mounting opsi_depot as pcpatch failed and it was not possible to install any software via opsi. I removed pcpatch from the ignorelist, resynced the user and and everything went fine. This has been resolved for UCS via Bug #34394, but obviously breaks deploying software with opsi in UCS@school.
This is still true for 4.0 R2 and afais makes opsi unusable in S4@school environments. Therefore I suggest to fix this via errata.
