/usr/share/ucs-school-import/scripts/move_domaincontroller_to_ou should
a) output some progress
b) prevent abortion with Ctrl-C , which leaves the notifier stopped.

It even stops the notifier before the option parsing. Running the script without argument or with --help leaves the user waiting for a couple of seconds until the notifier is stopped without any feedback.

yes, duplicate.

→ progress is printed out.
