Univention Bugzilla – Bug 34902
Multiserver setup: Error message and infinite load animation when giving master IP instead of FQDN
Last modified: 2014-08-27 17:01:42 CEST
A sanitizer seems to not like giving the FQDN as IP. But the frontend allows it. Result: an error message that does not help and a loading animation that does not stop.
In the past it was not allowed to pass the IP address of the DC master to univention-join (the join failed if the IP address was used). Does this limitation still exist?
univention-join needs a FQDN: Establishing a TLS connection with 10.200.4.200 failed. Maybe you didn't specify a FQDN.
