When choosing Admin DC in the installer, it is required to choose an Edu Slave, too (if the Edu Slave was not configured before).

Doing so adds some UDM objects with the correct group membership. But it does not join the DC Slave nor does it install the required packages on the host. This means that you seem to have configured your DC Slave as the Edu Slave of your school, but in fact it is still useless.

You need to run the installer on that DC Slave, too. This is nowhere mentioned.

Maybe prevent choosing Admin DC when no DC Slave is yet given (meaning that the School has to exist)

New pages of installer:
Hello -> Choose Edu -> Specify new school -> Credentials -> Install
-> Choose Admin -> Choose existing school -> Credentials -> Install
