Univention Bugzilla – Bug 35256
Corrupt DNS Record in S4
Last modified: 2017-04-18 13:15:41 CEST
We saw this in two customer environments... somehow a corrupt alias record was created/modified dn: relativeDomainName=._msdcs,zoneName=domain.de,cn=dns,dc=domain,dc=de cNAMERecord: ucs-server.domain.de. objectClass: top objectClass: dNSZone objectClass: univentionObject univentionObjectType: dns/alias dNSTTL: 80600 relativeDomainName: ._msdcs zoneName: domain.de This is no problem till you start using bind with ldap backend... the record corrupts the zone transfer. Unfortunately I have no idea how this happend. In one case the corresponing server (where the cname records comes from) was rejoined - the recordname indicates that there was a problem with modifying the guid part perhaps...
