When running join scripts via UMC, a custom umask is used. Does this affect files that are created by join scripts? As univention-run-joinscripts does not have this umask, the outcome of a join via UMC should not differ from the outcome of a command line tool.

Also consider system-setup, appcenter, updater which all may call joinscripts.
