Description Arvid Requate univentionstaff 2014-11-13 11:45:07 CET
During AD-Takover of a domain with a larger number of users/groups the progress bar stalls for quite a long time at the message "Kopiere DC=ForestDnsZones". Maybe we could improve the feedaback at this point even when samba-tool doesn't return any messages for a long time. Maybe something like searching for user/group objects every now and then and showing the numbers.

What I'm talking about here is this:

12.11.14 21:54:09.082 MODULE ( PROCESS ) : Kopiere DC=ForestDnsZones
12.11.14 22:40:24.057 MODULE ( PROCESS ) : ### Start von Samba ###

This is about 45 minutes of no visible progress in my test domain with 1500 users and all added to 40 groups. Unfortunately sam.ldb is not searchable during this time and samba-tool doesn't return any messages at this stage even at debug level 4.
