Univention Bugzilla – Bug 38154
Adopt univention-system-setup for docker appliances
Last modified: 2015-11-17 12:11:35 CET
The wizard of univention-system-setup has to be slightly modified for docker appliances: - the root password should not be asked (set when starting container) - the current hostname has to be shown, but the widget has to be disabled (docker does not allow the modification of the container's hostname)
univention-system-setup (8.1.66-43.1000): r59527 | Bug #38154: added UCR variable system/setup/boot/force/fqdn for systems with static hostname e.g. docker instances univention-system-setup (???): r59527 | Bug #38154: added UCR variable system/setup/boot/force/fqdn for systems with static hostname e.g. docker instances r59490 | Bug #38154: copy univention-system-setup from UCS 4.0-1-errata
Please merge the changes to 4.1.
Meanwhile the code from r59527 was replaced by r63832. It does remove the UCRV, but has the same result: hostname is shown, but the widget is disabled. Tested with images from two days ago: docker-test.software-univention.de/ucs-stem-amd64:4.1-0 docker-test.software-univention.de/ucs-master-amd64:4.1-0
OK, it works. I've added this bug number to an existing changelog entry: r64185.
UCS 4.1 has been released: https://docs.software-univention.de/release-notes-4.1-0-en.html https://docs.software-univention.de/release-notes-4.1-0-de.html If this error occurs again, please use "Clone This Bug".
