Description Dirk Wiesenthal univentionstaff 2015-08-25 12:03:15 CEST
univention-appcenter bringt /usr/bin/univention-app and should be installed on every server role (!= basesystem) for upgraded and new UCS installations.

See Bug #39385. It looks like univention-appcenter-docker is still unmaintained.

Hm, it is already in the task list for UCS 4.1:

 ucs-4.1-0/base/univention-dvd$ rgrep appcenter tasks/
 tasks/ucs410/task-ucs410:univention-appcenter-docker
 ucs-4.1-0/base/univention-dvd$

I've rebuild the DVD and it is now in maintained.

Please add a changelog entry.

I am pretty sure it was already in maintained. I updated a few weeks ago via testing.software-univention.de and it worked. Felix updated via an internal repository that maybe had not taken tasks/ucs410/task-ucs410 into account.

Resetting it to RESOLVED after I tried it once more today. In fact, I have reverted the explicit install in postup.sh. Looks like it is installed automacially by apt, which is preferable. So no changes here, this is just some debian/control magic in the univention-appcenter packages.

FYI: It is Recommends:, not Depends: because the docker integration shall not be installed within a (UCS based) docker container - but the plain appcenter itself shall.

This is actually the reason why it is its own package and not part of the core appcenter.

I just checked and docker.io:

Recommends: aufs-tools, ca-certificates, cgroupfs-mount | cgroup-lite

so probably that's enough?
Comment 9 Arvid Requate univentionstaff 2015-09-23 15:06:45 CEST
I've simply added cgroupfs-mount to tasks/ucs410/task-ucs410 as well. I guess that's it.
