Description Arvid Requate univentionstaff 2015-10-08 21:29:52 CEST
Issue affects UCS in AD Connection mode:

After setting "User must change password on next logon" in Active Directory, UMC logon fails for that AD user. There is no message explaining why and there is not password change dialog (implemented via Bug #29971).

On the command line things work:

root@ucs-1265:~# kinit aduser2
aduser2@SUB1.ARW2K8R2I3.QA's Password:
kinit: krb5_get_init_creds: Password has expired

root@ucs-1265:~# kpasswd aduser2
aduser2@SUB1.ARW2K8R2I3.QA's Password:
Your password/account will expire at Thu Jan 1 01:00:00 1970

New password for aduser2@SUB1.ARW2K8R2I3.QA:
Verify password - New password for aduser2@SUB1.ARW2K8R2I3.QA:
Success

Tested with UCS 4.0-3 ucs-kt image against W2K8R2 in context of Bug #37626.
