Description Michael Grandjean univentionstaff 2016-05-10 12:10:42 CEST
Currently the Citrix Receiver in UCC does not redirect peripheral devices itself. For USB devices such as pen-drives, our implementation "univention-ucc-remote-mount" is used to mount these devices to "/run/drives". The Citrix Receiver then adds these devices as some kind of "local harddrive" to the session.

Unfortunately, this solution does not work for PTP/MTP devices (e.g. smartphones), since they don't (can't?) get mounted to "/run/drives".
(There are even more problems to this implementation, see Bug #40961, Bug #37928, Bug #37858, Bug #36652)

According to http://docs.citrix.com/de-de/xenapp-and-xendesktop/7-6/xad-hdx-landing/xad-hdx-usb-cdm.html the Citrix Receiver (also for Linux) supports redirection of these devices. So maybe dropping our "univention-ucc-remote-mount"-implementation for the XenApp-Session and doing it "the Citrix way" should make this possible.
