I've installed a UCS 4.2 system with one hard drive. I've used the default partition setup without LVM. The installer asks about the boot device, see attached screenshot.

Setting "grub-installer/bootdev=default" seems to break the installation when multiple HDs are present, at least when installing from a USB stick (sda).

OK: No boot device selection in simple scenarios, tested: qemu + physical system
OK: 4.2 interim fix, no changelog neccessary
