patch

The univention-lib package contains some UMC specific library functions.
These functions use internal details of UMC (especially umc_frontend_new_hash and UMCConnection).
Those would be easier to maintain if they were part of the univention-management-consoel source package.
Attached is a patch which moves the UMC specific files into new binary packages shell-univention-lib-umc, python-univention-lib-umc. {shell,python}-univention-lib will depend on those packages.

The patch has to be tested as there might occur problems during package update because
1. umc.sh is sourced in all.sh
2. there are temporarily two packages which ship the same file then
3. py-support / python namespace might cause problems

I consider this bug currently as not important. interim-3 or not at all is enough.

Not now.
