June/july microsoft shipped a security update that disabled the point-and-print feature for printer shares that are using a non-package-aware driver. 
AFAIK currently samba does not support package-aware drivers. Therefore customers are not able to configure their client to download required printer drivers and install them automatically on first use.

Reading between the lines this may indicate that this can be achieved with with the existing MS-RPRN implementation in Samba, which would be very fortunate.

OTOH Günther Deschner (Redhat, Samba Team) is currently implementing IRemotewinSpool which seems to lie at the heart of the MS-PAR protocol
