Description Nico Gulden univentionstaff 2016-10-10 10:08:09 CEST
See feedback at Ticket#2016100621000295.

The feature would be useful to change user attributes according to their group memberships. For example SAML attributes cannot be set for groups, but only for users. To achieve this goal the administrator could search/filter for users according to their group memberships and then set the desired attribute via multi edit.

See branch fbest/udm-search-for-groups-in-users.
Comment 9 Florian Best univentionstaff 2019-07-16 20:23:19 CEST
Patch has been applied.
Additionally I deactivated that one can search for groups* of settings/default object. It's impossible to get something matching there, so the search never returned anything.

OK: users can be searched for group membership
OK: yaml (c5c21ffb06 Bug #42607: yaml)
-> verfied

Nested groups are not evaluated. If this is wanted please open a new bug

Will there be an Erratum also for UCS 4.3?
