+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #40558 +++

With the latest Kernel upgrade (ucs167, upstream kernel 4.1.16) we received several kernel traces. These traces are critical because smbd isn't running properly.

Reported by customer which use UCS 3.2/3.3.
Backport required.
