Description Erik Damrose univentionstaff 2016-11-15 15:14:33 CET
It is not possible to override the password history or password length for all account types, as both options (overridePWHistory, overridePWLength) are only evaluated for samba and posix accounts:

options=['samba', 'posix']

Setting a 'too short' or already used password for a simple authentication account is not possible, as the constraints are applied in any case.

Customer affected.

Created a "LDAP-User" and it was not possible to overwrite the password settings with the mentioned options.
