Description Arvid Requate univentionstaff 2016-12-07 14:30:33 CET
In addition to Bug 43126:

In two customer environments (one UCS@school and one plain UCS) we found the following error, which samba-tool dbcheck (from samba 4.5.1) cannot fix:
============================================================================
[root@dc01 ~]# samba-tool dbcheck --fix
Checking 541 objects
ERROR: incorrect GUID component for member in object CN=fs_suporte,CN=Groups,DC=example,DC=com - <GUID=e2995b216e22994eb2ea9d0afb44399b>;<RMD_ADDTIME=130812597670000000>;<RMD_CHANGETIME=130812957120000000>;<RMD_FLAGS=1>;<RMD_INVOCID=e85471bb5ef02842a8f49fa380702a12>;<RMD_LOCAL_USN=4832>;<RMD_ORIGINATING_USN=4832>;<RMD_VERSION=1>;<SID=010500000000000515000000ba8d78dd5e73d766f6c109757c040000>;CN=ZXXX,CN=Users,DC=example,DC=com

============================================================================

See https://bugzilla.samba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=12297 , which is claimed to be fixed in samba 4.5.2 although the comments there suggest otherwise. Maybe the other patch for https://bugzilla.samba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=12385 helps.
Comment 1 Arvid Requate univentionstaff 2016-12-07 15:06:24 CET
And this might be the root of the problem that samba-tool detects (but fails to fix):

https://bugzilla.samba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=12385 - patch in Samba 4.5.2
