Description Daniel Tröder univentionstaff 2017-04-12 10:44:50 CEST
It should be possible to en/disable a vacation notice in a self-service / UMC module.

Use cases:
* admin configures vacation notice for active user
* admin configures vacation notice for disabled user
* user configures own vacation notice
* delegation: user X configures vacation notice for user Y

Configuration:
* en/disable
* text
* optional: automatic disabling at configurable date

Sieve script editor compatibility:
* Dovecot
* Cyrus
* OX
* Horde ?
* Egroupware ?

From my point of view this is a very necessary implementation. Found this as I was looking for existing Requests during ticket processing.

Please note that most groupware solutions available for UCS have this (typically as part of the mail filtering solutions) -- and most of them are incompatible to each other.

If UCS implements this on it's own, it can't be compatbile to more than one of the apps. So most probably it will be inconvenient for the end user.

I don't expect an implementation unless there is some sort of standard discussed with app vendors. Most probably this standard will be a SSO between UCS self service and App specific settings which allows end users both settings in one place.

Our out of the box solution (postfix/dovecot) should have this possibility, from my point of view. There are many users that don't install big groupware solutions.
