Version: 4.2-2 errata189 (Lesum) Domain setup (this might take a while): The UCS master server's name "****" is unknown to the DNS servers (dns servers: 192.168.0.2, nslookup: Server: 192.168.0.2 Address: 192.168.0.2#53 ** server can't find ***: NXDOMAIN ). +++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #42021 +++ We have mutliple feedbacks during the initial system setup that 'ping to ... failed'. management/univention-join/univention-join:370: failed_message "ping to $DCNAME failed" Ticket#2016081521000111 Ticket#2016081221000421 Ticket#2016081221000402 Maybe we could enhance the message. Maybe we could make further checks before starting the system setup.
Version: 4.2-2 errata186 (Lesum) Remark: My install keeps coming up with dc2.*** This is an old non-existant server that I thought had been totally removed from my system. I can not find what is telling Univention to look for this server.
