Description Stefan 2017-11-27 16:07:51 CET
The nagios-check fails with this message:
CRITICAL: PROCS CRITICAL: 0 processes with command name opsiconfd-guard

opsiconfd-guard is not used on SystemD environments, so the check of opsiconfd-guard should be removed.

still same problem here under 4.3

Comment 2 E. Ülükmen 2019-08-08 11:38:50 CEST
opsi has it's own nagios/icinga integration with full implemented checks:

https://uib.de/de/opsi-erweiterungen/nagios-connector/

We don't use the opsiconfd-guard since a long time now. A broken check-plugin is not useful and breaks the monitoring.

We recommend to fix this issue ASAP or remove this plugin completely.

This issue has been filed against UCS 4.2.

UCS 4.2 is out of maintenance and many UCS components have changed in later releases. Thus, this issue is now being closed.

If this issue still occurs in newer UCS versions, please use "Clone this bug" or reopen it and update the UCS version. In this case please provide detailed information on how this issue is affecting you.

Happens also with paedML 7.1 (UCS 4.3). We use the Nagios Checks for a reliable basis to check if an update to UCS 4.4 is well prepared. But this seems not good with a "CRITICAL".

I think we have to remove the check for "opsiconfd-guard" in the file "check_univention_opsi" - after that the Nagios Check is "OK".
