The join assistant packages are not build for the next release version 18.04. The assistant should be available when that version is released (currently planned for April 26.)

I have branched a ubuntu18.04 branch from the ubuntu17.10 branch. It seems like the Ubuntu 17.10 version of the tool works without any changes in Ubuntu 18.04.

univention-domain-join depends on gksu, which was removed yesterday from the upcoming ubuntu 18.04 release.

0ac44add9 Adapt to Ubuntu 18.04
    
Run gui as user, not root
Add polkit rule definition
Call cli program from gui as root
Make gui log to file in user home

Debian changelog is a separate commit, we can look into adapting the approach for the other branches as well.
