Description Arvid Requate univentionstaff 2018-05-25 13:54:46 CEST
Samba 4.6.15 fixes a couple of issues.

https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Samba_4.6_Features_added/changed

In UCS 4.2 we currently only include security updates on top of Samba 4.6.1.

We should check if the patch for https://bugzilla.samba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=12972 is already in 4.6.15. Otherwise we should pick that up too. We had a customer environment were drs showrepl showed WERR_DS_DRA_ACCESS_DENIED only for a few of the "INBOUND NEIGHBORS" connections, and the connection errors were distributed asymmetrically between the Samba/AD DCs. The cause was that the serverReference Attribute was missing on some of the objectClass=server objects. It was missing only on some selected DCs though. Pretty confusing.

The posts in https://help.univention.com/t/warning-samba-replication-status/9271 may deal with this too.
