The 'OkOrNot', 'TrueFalseUp' and 'boolean' syntax classes are represented as
a checkbox in UMC. The values of the syntax classes are saved as strings in ldap.
(
 'OkOrNot':     'OK'   - 'Not'
 'TrueFalseUp': 'TRUE' - 'FALSE'
 'boolean':     '1'    - '0'
)
but the value of the checkbox is of type boolean.
So when searching for properties with these syntax classes no matches are found.

this bug is filed against UCS 4.3 while bug#32167 is filed against UCS 4.2, doesn't that matters?

Not really. it is the same bug. Also they both seem to depend on bugs #40672 and #47364, which should be resolved first.

I've moved the flags to Bug #32167 and set this issue to verified.
