Description Jannik Ahlers univentionstaff 2018-12-07 12:24:48 CET
Currently, the Let's Encrypt app is configured through the App Settings.
This is rather inconvenient. Status information regarding the success of creating a cert is not shown to the user right away. Instead, the user has to click on the app settings once again. Behavior of the wizard can only be edited in the provider portal. Furthermore, the univention-letsencrypt package can not be used via UMC if not installed throught the app center.
Comment 1 Jannik Ahlers univentionstaff 2018-12-17 11:10:12 CET
tl;dr:
The Lets Encrypt app has no UMC module, but instead is configured through the app settings.
This is a problem because:
- We can't properly display errors/status information
- The Wizard can only be edited in the Provider Portal
- The package depends on being installed from the app center
