This happens once or all the time?
Up to now, it happened only once.
I could not reproduce this problem after attempting it three times by joining an educational slave into a domain. Sönke said it only happened once to him as well and could not be reproduced. We close this bug for now. If the problem arises again please clone this as a new bug.
Happens on a central slave, as ucsschool.svg isn't included.

That fixed the opening problem. It was a traceback from UDM that doesn't handle grep closing its stdout. [4.4 ab6276366] Bug #48734: fix broken pipe ucs-school-metapackage (12.0.0-47)
