Description Christina Scheinig univentionstaff 2019-03-05 15:16:50 CET
The customer created a Policy to allow limited UMC access to a group. He would like members of this Group to be able to change passwords and nothing else.
Therefor he created a UMC policy.

When users in this Group sign into the UMC, they are able to use the User module and nothing else, so that part is working great. But when users in this Group open up any user's account in the User module, they are greeted with the following message:

The following empty properties were set to default values in the form.
These values will be applied when saving.
* Account - Deactivation - Account is deaktivated: false

This error does not appear for regular Domain Admins, only users in the Group I created to allow password changes.

I could reproduce this when I was following the steps the customer took. I think this message is very confusing, and I do not understand, why this message shows, anyway.

The users in this Group are not able to edit the user settings at this point, because the ldap permission has not been granted yet.
