Description Ingo Steuwer univentionstaff 2019-04-03 21:38:17 CEST
needrestart / checkrestart (package debian-goodies) offer a simple way to identify services which need a restart after a package / library upgrade. We could add these checks to Nagios and/or UMC.
Comment 1 Ingo Steuwer univentionstaff 2019-04-03 21:41:34 CEST
`needrestart -p` creates a nagios compatible string
Comment 2 Philipp Hahn univentionstaff 2019-05-13 09:32:02 CEST
Or <https://packages.debian.org/source/stretch/whatmaps>

The UMC services module should list services needing a restart (due to updated library packages)
