The UMC module of virtualization/univention-virtual-machine-manager-daemon has to be python3-compatible.

I think this isn't needed anymore as we discontinue UVMM. Am I right?

Yes,
we only have to migrate the schema package including the syntax classes and the UVMM UDM modules - for mixed environment cases.
