Univention Bugzilla – Bug 51504
UCS 5: postconf: fatal: open /etc/postfix/main.cf: No such file or directory
Last modified: 2021-05-25 16:02:13 CEST
I see often the following error message when settings UCR variables: # ucr set interfaces/ens3/broadcast=10.207.255.255 interfaces/ens3/netmask=255.255.0.0 Setting interfaces/ens3/broadcast Setting interfaces/ens3/netmask Multifile: /etc/network/interfaces postconf: fatal: open /etc/postfix/main.cf: No such file or directory fail: univention-directory-listener: unable to change to service directory: file does not exist File: /etc/dhcp/dhclient.conf postconf: fatal: open /etc/postfix/main.cf: No such file or directory File: /etc/motd.setup File: /etc/welcome.msg File: /usr/share/univention-management-console/meta.json File: /etc/issue I cound't find the root cause, where this is triggered? postfix is installed, univention-mail-* not.
This happens during system setup, when "postfix" is already installed, but before univention-mail-postfix is installed.
(In reply to Daniel Tröder from comment #1) > This happens during system setup, when "postfix" is already installed, but > before univention-mail-postfix is installed. It's interestring why postfix is then now installed on the DVD but univention-mail-postfix not - before USS runs. This bug might be just closed as invalid, as this doesn't happen after installing univention-mail-postfix.

The error messages have been fixed by moving the user creation before the #DEBHELPER#.
