Description Daniel Tröder univentionstaff 2020-09-18 14:44:51 CEST
The displayName attribute of UCS@school classes and work groups could be used for a nicer text, so that apps ca consume it. Currently the displayName attribute is left empty and thus the name is shown everywhere. Group names in UCS must be unique, and so a class "1a" is named "$OU-1a".
The displayName could doe example be "1a at $OU" or "1a an $OU". Those are still unique, but better readable.

* The displayName attribute should be filled using a template.
* A join script should set the displayName attribute on all groups that have no displayName, optionally overwrite existing values (enabled by env var?).
