Description Max Pohle univentionstaff 2021-04-06 16:55:40 CEST
In our blog article and also in the video linked there it is explained that a new pdf printer can be added with a space char in the mandatory field "target". Assigning a space char to the field still works, but then there is no printer added to cups.

It seems to work with an arbitrator non-empty string though.
Comment 2 Florian Best univentionstaff 2021-04-13 10:29:12 CEST
Does it work in UCS 4.4?

Needed for UCS@school

We should instead or additionally fix Bug #24081 - which allows to specify a printer URI without spaces as separator for subsyntaxes of complex syntaxes.

A space here would then be the printer uri='"cups-pdf:/" " "' which could also much easier be specified by just "cups-pdf:/".
