Description Philipp Hahn univentionstaff 2021-04-27 10:42:42 CEST
# udm dns/ptr_record create --superordinate zoneName="3.2.1.in-addr.arpa,$ldap_base" --set ip="1.2.3.4" --set ptr_record="$hostname.$domainname."
E: zoneName=3.2.1.in-addr.arpa,dc=phahn0,dc=qa is not a superordinate for dns/ptr_record.

I mis-typed the super-ordinate DN, which does not exists:

# univention-ldapsearch -LLLs base -b "3.2.1.in-addr.arpa,$ldap_base" 1.1
Invalid DN syntax (34)
Additional information: invalid DN

Expected some error message like "superordinate $dn does not exist" instead of "not appropriate type"

Same behavior in UCS 4.4.
