To facilitate the work of administrators at the turn of the year and the like, it would be convenient to be able to change the names of classes and Administrate workgroups in the School administration module instead of implementing this via LDAP modules.

1. For the yearly class rotation, please use the script "/usr/share/ucs-school-import/scripts/rename_class" that exists especially for that case: https://docs.software-univention.de/ucsschool-handbuch-4.4.html#school:setup:cli:annualrotation

2. Groups and shares should be renamed in the respective UMC modules,not in the LDAP browser.

3. It is still a valid request to allow the renaming to take place in the school UMC module "Administrate workgroups".
