In line 73 of 37ucs-school-veyon-windows.inst, the matching school OU is searched. The OU is filtered with:

ucsschoolHomeShareFileServer=$ldap_hostdn

$ldap_hostdn is the server on which the join script is executed.

The HomeShareFileServer can also be another server, it does not have to be the excecuting server. In this case no OU will be found.

M.Grandejan commentet  as follow:
"The ucsschoolHomeShareFileServer is located at the school OU object, the joinscript should pick it up from there."
