Univention Bugzilla – Bug 54184
Confusing text in /etc/motd
Last modified: 2021-12-08 17:17:17 CET
After SSH login, the message of the day says: ---[cut]--- You can log into the Univention Management Console - the principal tool to manage users, groups, etc. - using the "Administrator" account and the password selected for the root user on the master domain controller. ---[cut]--- The term "principal" confused at least 4 colleagues. After some attempts with translation tools, "principal tool" translated to "das wichtigste Instrument" (the most important tool). I think we should replace "principal tool" with "main tool" in the motd. ./univention-base-files/conffiles/etc/issue: print('You can log into the Univention Management Console - the principal tool to manage ') ./univention-base-files/conffiles/etc/welcome.msg: print('You can log into the Univention Management Console - the principal tool to manage ')
I update the files as discussed. dd3530b1 7e79d255 cab25794 univention-base-files: 9.0.3-6A~5.0.0.202112071429
OK: Updated texts in issue and welcome.msg OK: univention-base-files: 9.0.3-6A~5.0.0.202112071429 OK: yaml Verified
