The following behaviour changed with UCS5 regarding the saml login. This is very confusing for the customer and it seems not to be a userfriedly behaviour.

If you are logged in via saml (saml tile or hamburger button) you have to click the login Button again, when you change from server a to server b.
This behaviour occurs within UMC, e.g. using the server overview. 

I have not checked this behaviour with apps using saml.

Do you mean UMC (/univention/management/), Portal (/univention/umc or /univention/portal) or only Server-Overview (/univention/server-overview)?
Did you configure the Portal to use SAML by default?

I am logged via saml on
http://dc01.schein.en/univention/portal/#/

and when i open the backup on an other browser tab, i have to click login again, then i am logged in.
https://backup.schein.en/univention/portal/#/

I have not checked univention/management, but server-overview on the other servers a click on logon is required

OK, that's an Portal only issue.
