Description Johannes Königer univentionstaff 2022-08-08 11:57:32 CEST
The status indicators in the computer room module, which are positioned left of the computer name, change their status/color only very slowly and sometimes not at all, unless the computer room module is reloaded.

This was observed with 5.0 v3, Veyon Proxy App 4.7.4.6-0 and 4.7.4 Veyon Windows app, but is not specific to this combination of application versions.

Sorry this feature needed to be activated (see bug 55249).

If you have already upgraded you can enable it using the following commands:
```
univention-app update
univention-app configure ucsschool-veyon-proxy
```

You should see a new app setting "Polling interval for state changes in milliseconds".

The config file "/etc/ucsschool-veyon/config.json" should now include a setting called "ComputerStatePollingInterval".

After reconfiguring Veyon with the mentioned two commands, I do in fact get the new directive "ComputerStatePollingInterval" in my config.json file. The status indicators do however still stay permanently grey, even after rebooting the entire server. Tested on all modern browsers. Is there something else to configure, that I missed?
