When I create a new computer via the UMC "Computer" module, I first enter a name and the MAC and then select the correct network. The system then automatically obtains the next available IP on the network, enters it into the IP field, and also automatically fills in the forward and reverse DNS entries and the DHCP entry. However, sometimes computers need to be given a very specific IP. So we adjust the IP in the IP address field - the DNS and DHCP entry fields will be outlined in red because the values do not match anymore. So we also change the DNS and DHCP entries manually again to the new IP and finally create the computer by "Save". What happens now: - The IP address field (aRecord) on the computer is correctly set to the self-assigned IP. - The DHCP entry is created correctly with the self-assigned IP - Forward and reverse DNS entries are created incorrectly with the originally suggested IP and cause an inconsistent computer entry! This problem did not exist under UCS 4.

I adjusted the assessment a bit: From the tickets I could not see that someone was blocked in their daily work, there is "only" additional effort in cleanup needed so far. Still a Prio Bug however.
